All About ME!

Hello,
I first want to thank you so much for stopping by to see what I have been up to in my stamp room. For those of you that I have not had the pleasure of meeting, please let me tell you a little about myself. I am fortunate enough to be married to my best friend in the entire world, whom I had three beautiful children with. Alicia is 11, Nicholas is 5 ½, and Trevor is 4. There is NEVER a dull moment in this house.
When I first started out stamping I thought “This is pretty cool… but can I actually do this?” I mean, I come from the craftiest mother ever. She can paint and sew and anything else you can think of. I definitely was not gifted in those areas and it wasn’t for lack of trying. I attempted to sew and paint and was just awful at it. My mom said “you should at least learn how to sew a button”. And my response was “Nope! I can just pay someone to do it.” I was that hopeless. But when it came to rubber and cardstock my imagination just took over. It’s so relaxing and fun and you meet the best people stamping. So when I tell people “If I can do it, so can you”, you better believe it’s possible. I still can’t sew on a button but I can stamp the heck out of anything!
So I decided after I had Nicholas to try my hand at selling it. I thought, what better way to stay at home with the kids and make some extra cash? I was able to support my habit and make some extra cash while making new friends. I get paid to have fun… how many people can say that?

My latest Creations

Ok so I finally mounted my Spring Supplement sets and had a chance to play around with them and OMG! It was so much fun. I love this little cow from the "An' Udder Birthday" set and all the cute things she is doing. I colored her in with Water Color Pencils and accented the card with my black marker and white gel pen. The card actually measures 5.5X5.5.

This little Monkey has to be my favorite image from the Happy Day set. I used Watercolor Pencils on this image as well. And brushed the edges of my white cardstock with my Haystack Palette ink pad. Again I accented the card with my white gel pen and some ribbon and prima flowers. A card can never have too much jewelry right?
